Shipping Policy
At Lazy L Ranch Meats, we take extra care to make sure your order arrives fresh, frozen, and ready to enjoy. Because we ship perishable products, our shipping process is designed around preserving quality from our ranch to your door.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Once your order is packed and scheduled for shipment, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
To ensure your meat arrives in optimal condition, we only ship on select days of the week (typically Monday through Wednesday). This helps us avoid weekend transit delays that could compromise freshness. If you place an order later in the week, it will ship the following shipping window.
Packaging
All orders are shipped frozen in insulated containers with dry ice or gel packs to maintain proper temperature throughout transit. Our packaging is designed to keep your products frozen or well-chilled for the duration of standard shipping times.
It's normal for some dry ice to have dissipated and for gel packs to have partially thawed upon arrival. As long as the meat is still cold to the touch or partially frozen, it is safe to refrigerate or refreeze.
Shipping Methods & Transit Times
We ship via expedited carriers to minimize time in transit. Estimated delivery times once shipped:
- Standard expedited shipping: 1–3 business days
- Remote or rural addresses: may take an additional 1–2 business days
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, and the packaging required to keep your order cold.
Delivery & Receiving Your Order
Because your order is perishable, we strongly recommend:
- Being available to receive your delivery, or arranging for someone to bring it inside promptly
- Refrigerating or freezing your items as soon as possible after delivery
- Checking the contents of your package upon arrival
We are not responsible for orders left unattended for extended periods after delivery. If you anticipate being away, please let us know before your order ships so we can adjust the timing.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship within the continental United States. We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations at this time. If you have questions about whether we can ship to your area, contact us at info@lazylmeats.com.
Damaged, Delayed, or Missing Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, significantly delayed, or with items missing, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@lazylmeats.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damage or packaging. We'll review your request and make it right with a refund or store credit. Full details are available in our Return & Refund Policy.
Weather & Carrier Delays
While we do everything we can to ensure timely delivery, we cannot control weather events, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control. If a delay is expected to compromise the quality of your order, please reach out to us so we can work with you on a resolution.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you notice an error, contact us immediately at info@lazylmeats.com. If your order has not yet shipped, we'll do our best to update the address before it goes out.
